From time to time, the DVB Steering Board takes the decision to deprecate specifications, whether because they have been superseded by another specification, have become obsolete and are thus no longer needed, or have never been implemented. CP System ID
Definition: A CP_System_ID is used to identify a CPS – Content Protection System. As DVB-CPCM, DVB’s set of specifications for Content Protection and Copy Management, is designed to facilitate interoperability, CP_System_IDs need to be assigned to CP Systems which interact with CPCM to ensure that their private data (e.g. transactional data or usage scenario information) is correctly passed through DVB-CPCM.

IPDC Notification Type ID
Definition: IPDC (IP Datacast) Notification is a function by which the network provides messages about forthcoming and not predictable events of interest to the terminal or the user. An IPDC Notification may lead to subsequent interaction from the user/the terminal. The information carried in the notification messages can be related to the (DVB) network supporting the IPDC system, the IP platform, or the services described in a given ESG.

IPDC Operator ID
Defintion: An IPDC Operator is a network entity managing IPDC key streams. It is uniquely identified by a pair of two DVB identifiers: an IPDC_Operator_ID value and a CA_System_ID value.

Payload ID
Definition: For the transport of Service Discovery & Selection (SD&S) records, ETSI TS 102 034 defines the DVBSTP protocol. The different types of SD&S information are distinguished by the Payload_ID field in the DVBSTP header.

Platform ID
Definition: Platform_IDs are globally unique IDs used in connection with mobile TV services, to enable roaming in connection with services based using the DVB-IPDC (IP Datacast) specifications.

Private Resource Definer ID
Definition: The Private_Resource_Definer_ID specifies the organization responsible for defining usage, syntax and semantics of private resources provided by DVB-CI modules.

Registration Authority ID
Definition: The Registration_Authority_ID identifies the authority that allocates private_resource_definer values for use on the DVB Common Interface to applicants. This identifier is managed by ETSI. It allows ETSI to delegate authority for managing parts of the range of private_resource_definer values to other registration authorities.

Root of Trust ID
Definition: The Root_of_Trust_ID is specific to the 18Crypt DVB-H IPDC service purchase & protection (SPP) specification, i.e. Annex B of TS 102 474.
