Definition
In DVB-SI, one is allowed to deliver private data in a legal SI stream – and the Private_Data_Specifier_ID is used to signal the private data and the origins of the private data. Private data is an important part of DVB-SI, and being able correctly identify its origins is also important.
Key fields
- “Private Data Specifier Organization” – name of the organization that is responsible for delivering private data in SI streams, e.g “ACME, Inc.”
