Definition
A “bouquet” allows a broadcaster to group a set of services across different transport streams, which themselves could even be located across different networks. A Bouquet_ID uniquely describes such a grouping for a given geographical region.
Bouquet_ID values are allocated to broadcasters and network operators to identify bouquets within the application area of the DVB-SI standard (EN 300 468), by insertion in the Bouquet_ID field.
Key fields
- “Bouquet Name” – Name of the Bouquet (e.g. “ACME Pay-TV Service”)
- “Bouquet Country Code” – Country code where the bouquet is unique (e.g. North America)
- “Bouquet Operator” – Name of company which operates Bouquet (e.g. “ACME Pay-TV, Inc.”)
